What we keep, and why
Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
Blurtz is made by Aero Solutions Pro LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information Blurtz collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what’s needed to run a private game between you and your people, we don’t sell it, we don’t show ads, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Sign-in details — your email address, or the identifier, name and email that Apple or Google share when you sign in with them (Apple may give us a private relay address). | To create your account and sign you in. |
| Profile — display name, handle, profile picture, and the team name and team picture you use in each room. | So the people in your rooms know who you are. |
| Game content — rooms you create or join, squares you add, the calls you make with their stories, photos and videos, your confirms and disputes with their reasons, appeals, and comments. | That’s the game. It’s shown to the members of the room it was posted in. |
| Scores — points, lines and titles, computed from the game. | Standings and the all-time table. |
| Push token — a device token and whether it’s iOS or Android, if you allow notifications. | To tell you when one of your squares is called, when your call is confirmed or disputed, and similar game events. |
| Safety records — reports you file, people you block, the results of picture and video checks, and moderation decisions. | To keep Blurtz safe and to respond to reports within 24 hours. |
| Your agreement — when you agreed to the Terms, and which version. | Required before you can join a room. |
| Service logs — technical records like IP addresses and request times, kept by our hosting providers. | To run, secure and debug the service. |
Blurtz asks for your camera, microphone and photo library only when you choose to add a picture, photo or video, and only uses what you pick or record. We don’t collect your location, contacts, or any data from other apps.
We look at totals across rooms — like how many calls a room makes in a week and how often they get comments — to understand whether the game works. We don’t use third-party analytics or advertising tools.
Who sees your content
Rooms are private. What you post in a room is visible to that room’s current members, and nobody else. Your display name, handle and profile picture are visible to people you share a room with. Anyone you’ve blocked’s content is hidden from you; blocking doesn’t tell them.
New pictures, photos and videos are hidden from everyone but you until an automated check approves them. If you or your content are reported, the people who review reports can see the reported content and the information needed to act on it.
Who processes it for us
We use these service providers. They process information only to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in, file storage and server functions. Hosts everything listed above. |
| OpenAI | Checks pictures, photos and stills taken from videos for objectionable content, through its moderation service. It receives the image and returns a result; it does not receive your name or account details. |
| Expo | Delivers push notifications to your device. It receives your push token and the notification text. |
| Apple and Google | Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google, if you use them, and delivery of notifications to your device. |
| Vercel | Hosts playblurtz.com. |
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
How long we keep it
- Your account and profile are kept until you delete your account.
- Calls and their scores stay in a room’s standings after you leave or are removed, shown as coming from “a former player”, so the game’s results stay intact. When you delete your account, your personal details are removed and your stories, photos, videos and comments are deleted.
- Stills taken from a video for the safety check are deleted once the check is done.
- Reports and moderation decisions are kept as a safety record, including after content is removed.
Your choices and rights
- Change your name, pictures and team names in the app.
- Turn off notifications in your device settings at any time.
- Delete your own comments, or your whole account, in the app (Profile → Delete account). Deleting your account removes your login, profile, pictures, stories, photos, videos, comments and blocks straight away, and revokes Sign in with Apple if you used it.
- Access or correct the information we hold about you by asking us.
To make a request, email support@aerosolutionspro.com from the address on your account, or tell us your handle. We’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit. Access inside the database is restricted so each person can only read what their rooms allow, and files are stored privately and served through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you trust us with.
Children
Blurtz is for people 17 and older and isn’t directed to children. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Where it’s processed
We’re based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above, and for significant changes we’ll tell you in the app.
